Grow your pipeline, strengthen your community

Build business through the people
you already know.

Create opportunities in your own backyard. Build relationships that generate long-term referrals, support local organizations while you help homeowners, and become the trusted solar resource in your community. The best leads come from people and organizations you already know.

Why it works

Outreach works because it serves both sides.

You meet homeowners through a group they already trust, and the group raises money by making the introduction. You stand apart from every solar rep working cold.

✓
Meet homeowners off the beaten path.Outside traditional sales channels, through an organization that vouches for you.
✓
Borrow built-in credibility. The trust the organization has earned transfers to you the moment you are introduced.
✓
Generate referrals that compound.Community leaders send people your way, and one partnership keeps paying.
✓
Create repeat opportunities.Events and partnerships come back around season after season.
✓
Fund a cause at no cost to them. The organization raises money with no event to run and no obligation.
✓
Set yourself apart. You become the trusted solar resource in your town, not another knock.
Your assignment

Become a Community Ambassador.

Over the next two weeks, turn your own network into a partnership pipeline. You are not selling yet. You are scouting the groups, events, and people who open doors.

1
Research local events.
Walks, runs, festivals, and fundraisers already on the calendar near you.
2
Identify the organizations.
Who is being supported, and who benefits from them.
3
Look for aligned groups.
Missions that fit ours: community, family, environment.
4
Find the decision-makers.
The person who can say yes, often the Director of Development. You can usually find the name on the organization's website.
5
Bring opportunities.
Walk into the next meeting with names, ready to discuss.

The goal: meet with Lori to turn your list into real partnerships. Before you dial, read the Outreach & Relationship-Building Call Guide.

Do the homework

Questions to answer before we meet.

Know the organization and you look like a professional, not a solicitor.

?
What organization benefits, and what is its cause?
?
How many members or supporters do they have?
?
What events do they host through the year?
?
Who makes partnership decisions?
?
Do they have newsletters, social media, or a website?
?
Do they actively fundraise, and have they partnered with businesses before?
How we grow it

One introduction is where it all starts.

Track the team race on the Outreach Scoreboard: live standings for partners landed, meetings set, and prospects in play.

📅
We meet every other week.
Share opportunities, discuss progress, build strategies, and celebrate wins together.
🎯
The challenge.
Bring at least one potential partner to the next meeting. Every time.
🚀
It compounds.
One organization leads to one event, one relationship, and many opportunities.

Run it from one place.

The Community Partners tracker holds every organization by area, your working-group teams, and your existing connections as active partners. Build teams, enroll reps, dispatch organizations, and move a prospect from contacted to partner. Pair it with the Outreach Call Guide. Reps work their list in My Partner Calls and track the race on the Scoreboard.
